To me Adventures By Disney is the ultimate to travel for families to destinations all around the world and around the United States so I wanted to expand on ‘ABD’ just a little and share what you can expect on an adventure.
Want to add something a little different to your Walt Disney World vacation? Ever wanted to see a little ‘behind the curtain’ at the theme parks? Walt Disney World offers several tours in the theme parks that can be both fun and informative.
You don’t have to miss your workout just because you’re on vacation. There are plenty of ways to stay fit at Walt Disney World.
Margaret, what do we do with the kids if we want to have a grownup dinner or night out at Walt Disney World?
I love the idea of parent’s night out during your Walt Disney World trip – there are some fantastic restaurants for a nice romantic, special occasion or just a casual adults only dinner. There are also some great lounges for a little quiet relaxing time without the kids.
There are two choices for supervised child care at Walt Disney World – Children’s Activity Clubs and in-room babysitting.
There are four Children’s Activity Clubs located at different resorts around the property and you do not have to be a registered guest at that resort for your children to go to the club. While at the club the kids will make crafts, play games, watch Disney movies and eat dinner.
Kids must be 3 to 12 years of age and fully potty-trained. No pull-ups are allowed. Reservations are recommended but not required. An hourly rate is charged per child, and a 2-hour minimum applies. Same-day walk-ins are also welcome based on availability.
A second option is in-room babysitting at your resort. This service is provided by a Disney approved outside vendor – not by Disney cast members. There is only one Disney approved babysitting service and that is the only one I will recommend and book.
While the Activity Centers only take kids over 3 years old the babysitting service will work with children starting at 6 months.
Pricing is based on the number of children and some minimums and fees may apply.
By the way you can also make arrangements with this company to provide childcare assistance in the parks.
If you would like information about specifics and pricing for these childcare services or just have a question don’t hesitate to get in touch.
